U of R Business School is #1!

By: Emily McNair, Business Analyst

I had the privilege of attending the 2012 JDC West competition in Edmonton, Alberta with the Paul J. Hill School of Business.  The competition ran from January 13 to January 15, and it proved to be a very eventful weekend!

I attended the competition as an Additional Coach for the team, so I got a very different perspective of how everything is run as compared to when I attended last year on the Entrepreneurship Team.  It is amazing all of the logistics that goes into the planning for a competition of this size; more than 500 students, 200 volunteers and a whole lot of cheering!

After four years of consistently placing in the top three, the University of Regina finally had its chance to shine as we took home School of the Year for the first time!  The runner ups were the University of British Columbia in second place and the University of Calgary in third place.

This demonstrates the outstanding faculty and business program that the Paul J. Hill School of Business offers its students.
